He manako te kōura i kore ai – merely wishing for something won’t make it happen
Reo Whairawa Limited is excited to welcome new and returning attendees to Kura Reo Pakihi 2.0 – a Māori language course focussed on te reo Māori for use in business. Kura Reo Pakihi is held in a marae setting to enhance the learning experience. Core sessions on business terminology, mihi, karakia and grammar have been refreshed, and new sessions have been developed on whakataukī (proverbs) and a waiata (song) for use in the workplace. There will also be two new ‘te ao Māori’ sessions.

Māori Business Adviser, Te Tumu Paeroa
“Kura Reo Pakihi created a comfortable and safe learning environment for me, as a beginner learner of te reo māori. The lessons were practical to the workplace and interesting.”
Financial Adviser, Private Sector
“Tū whitia te hopo. Ka rangona e te katoa tērā āhuatanga o te āmaimai ki te whakapakari i tona ake reo. He ngāwari te karo i ēnei momo wānanga, kia kore e rangona taua ahua o te whakama. Engari, ko ngā painga ka puta he mea whakatipu i te tangata. I riro ēnei hua ki Kura Reo Pakihi!”
“Feel the fear and do it anyway. Everyone feels a level of discomfort when developing their own reo. It’s easier to shy away from these types of learning environments and avoid the discomfort, but the benefits are worth the growing pains. At Kura Reo Pakihi we reaped the benefits!”
